The Situation of Hunger in Syria & other Poor countries! They need YOUR help!

I was told a brother's real experience in the field of charity and made me realise we really need to push our charity for Syria. The story was about the poor people of a town in Sudan who was approached by a muslim charity company this year. The local orphans are living in a madressa learning arabic but they look extremely tired and really rough in appearance.

The Brother asked the local Imam what's the situation with food. The Shaykh replied back with a smile saying Alhamdullilah. Thinking that the reply didn't sound right since on the ground hunger could be seen he asked again, so what's the situation with food? Once again the Shaykh humbly replied Alhamdullilah we are doing fine with a smile on his face.

Finally the brother from the charity asked the Shaykh that please give an honest answer because it's not only about himself here there are others to think about too. Slowly the smile on the face dropped and the truth came out. The Shaykh replied that on most occassions they do not get to eat food for 2 whole days at a time and he was grateful to Allah even after 2 days they were getting something to eat. The brother reports that signs of extreme hunger could be seen on the villagers.

It's shocking, you and me are probably approaching lunch soon in the UK and we are thinking what to eat. We are already planning what to cook for dinner, or where shall we go out to eat on the weekend. All our food is staring once the fridge door is open.

I urge you to help & share this cause with others so that our brothers/sisters and children do not have to suffer for 2-3 days before they can eat some food and quench their thirst.
